Bryant offers no technical analysis
EL SEGUNDO - Kobe Bryant slipped out of the Lakers' practicefacility without talking to reporters Thursday afternoon and wasunavailable to comment on his ejection from Wednesday night's loss tothe Charlotte Bobcats.
His feelings about his league-leading 14th and 15th technical foulsof the season remained a mystery. He did not speak to reporters afterthe game, storming out of Staples Center not long after his ejectionfor kicking the basketball with 3:40 remaining.
Whether he's concerned about drawing another technical before theend of the regular season and having to serve a league-imposed one-gamesuspension is a question that must be answered another day.

Coach Phil Jackson declined to answer questions after Wednesday'sloss, but he offered some insight on Bryant's ejection Thursday whenasked about the possibility of losing the team's leading scorer to asuspension.
"He did not intentionally or to any degree think in any way that hewas going to get that last technical," Jackson said. "He's kind ofpunted the ball over to the referees for about the last week and ahalf. This one, the referee just wasn't going to take it."
In fact, Bryant seemed stunned when referee David Jones ejected him.Bryant had just been whistled for fouling Charlotte's Matt Carroll anddirected the ball toward Jones with a light tap with his right foot, asoccer-like move he's made repeatedly this season.
Bryant did not seem angry over the foul, which came 29 seconds afterhe received a technical for arguing a non-call at the other end of thecourt.
