The name 悉尼 has been used as the official name for Sydney for at least six to seven years now, when pronounced in Mandare in, it's a much closer translation of Sydney compare to 雪梨 . Just like the name Beijing instead of Peking for 北京 in English. However, in a Chinese restaurants, if you try to order a Beijing Duck, the waiter wouldn't know what you are trying to order though. 公仔箱論壇3 X# \# Q9 A2 e% D

The first one is either from the Sydney Botanic Garden or at the Hyde Park, they are both very nice spots to relax and have a leisurely sunbake during the lunch break for many Sydneysiders.! H7 s4 Y& G2 \# T
Then there is the famous Sydney Opera House taken from the western side.
7 f6 C8 F) G+ B7 t" I) AFollowed by two photos of the snow fields at Perisher Valley, not much snow yet, give it another 4 to 5 weeks, then it would be right into the skiing season.tvb now,tvbnow,bttvb# ~& B9 V. m0 c+ z# ^
Then there are the Bondi Beach, if you venture to the eastern side, well, there you will find a lot of women sunbaking topless; no fuss, as men do it all the time.

A" u1 J, C* X: XThen we are heading north toward central coast up, about an hour and a half drive from Sydney, we get to the a place call The Entrance, a really nice spot, the ranger feed the Pelicans twice a day, quite an interesting sight. Here we are back to Sydney at the St Andrew's Cathedral, an Anglican church next to the Sydney townhall.公仔箱論壇2 G: v# ~* i- u5 U; z
The last one is specially for the shopaholics. The renovated Queen Victoria Building, there used to be an up market Chinese restaurant inside, but it's now turned into another shop. A very nice shopping arcade.
