For some causes in the list, it may contribute indirectly to brain damage (degeneration?) whereas for some I have reservation. Do you have more detail regarding cause #1, #7 and #10? For #1, our body has mechanism to maintain homeostasis, without breakfast alone should not have significant impact on our health. For #7, if cutaneous respiration is that essential, then it would be a bigger problem if we covered ourselves with blanket when sleeping. For #10, "intellectual" has the same connotation as #9, how then talking play a role apart from intense brain function such as analyzing facts?
