The Magic have scheduled a news conference but wouldn't say what it was about. Turkoglu had career highs in points (19.7), rebounds (7.3) and assists (4.7) for the Magic, and contributed two game-winning shots.
Turkoglu, in his eighth season, averaged 13.3 points, 4.0 rebounds and 3.2 assists last season.
He was given a more expanded role in the offense with the free-agent exit of Grant Hill, and became the Magic's fourth-quarter go-to player.
