在聖勞倫斯河位置在加拿大魁北克省東南部的端口;人口1162693（2006）。成立於1642年，它是由法國統治，直到1763;近三分之二的當今人口是法語。法國名字蒙特利爾。

Montreal 加拿大法國移民最多的地方，所以城市裡有許多法國風味的建築。
