鳳凰山 Lantau Peak 是香港第二高的山峰，海拔934米，比全港最高的山峰大帽山（957米）僅低23米，為大嶼山最高的山峰。鳳凰山處於大東山以西，木魚山以東，狗牙嶺以北，昂坪和彌勒山之東南，地塘仔之西南，附近範圍被劃入南大嶼郊野公園之內，是著名的觀賞日出地點。

鳳凰山又稱爛頭山（英文名稱Lantau Peak的來源），因為山頂就如一個缺失了一部份的頭部。大嶼山的英文名稱Lantau Island（意即「爛頭島」）亦得自鳳凰山。

此外，鳳凰山也有別稱為鴉雀口山，因山峰好像烏鴉仰天張口。

很漂亮的景色呀,很多年沒有去過了,真的忘記了這地方~~

I haven't been Lantau Island for at least ten years since I was away from Hong Kong. The night view of Lantau Island and the starring sky are real beautiful. The Ngong Ping 360 so far I haven't try yet.The huge Buddha statue I see from the net only.After all landscape of Lantau is worth to have a look.

I have been Lantau Peak for several time before, which I was lucky. The weather was so good that I can see the rising was liked a yolk floating on the horizon. I was frozen while I was watching the sun rising.
