Yes, I ever thought that the child who was born in HK should get *** HK ID. However, as I heard, there is another situation that if the child was born after July 01, 1997
and in the mean time the child had the citizenship of other country , this child will be treated as non-Chinese and be issued one *HK ID instead of ***, the holder of *ID need to go back to HK
within 3 years (every 3-year back to HK), once over 3 years, the holder will lose the right of permament residence. |
