路透社報導,捷克一名裝置藝術家重新設計了一輛雙層巴士,使英國倫敦的傳統象徵多了一分趣味!為慶祝將於27日開幕的倫敦奧運,他將一台廢棄的雙層巴士裝上兩隻紅色手臂,且此手臂可藉由彎曲以及伸直,展現出雙層巴士做伏地挺身的有趣模樣。
捷克藝術家大衛.塞爾尼(David Cerny)從荷蘭購入一台1957年的雙層巴士,並為其裝上兩隻手臂以及一個電動馬達,使身為倫敦象徵的傳統雙層巴士增添趣味,他將此最新的藝術作品取名為「舉高倫敦」(London Boosted),放置在位於倫敦的捷克奧運大樓外(Czech Olympic House)。
「舉高倫敦」內的電動馬達可帶動重達6公噸的雙層巴士上下移動,並以兩隻手臂為移動重心,讓它就像在做伏地挺身一般,且巴士的移動更會搭配著預錄的吱嘎聲,及巴士窗戶內的影片投射,使其更為擬真。
塞爾尼表示,伏地挺身不僅是全世界各項運動選手的共同運動,同時也是軍中和監牢中的懲罰,因此伏地挺身是一種普世身體活動,但這樣看來也相當諷刺。
塞爾尼的藝術作品常惹來爭議,如2009年於布魯塞爾的歐盟大樓外,他的裝置藝術作品惡搞歐盟各國,以不同的具體事物來諷刺各國的所作所為,其中保加利亞的形象為一蹲式馬桶,因為保加利亞為衛生設備出口大國,或以空白表示英國,因為英國不熱衷歐洲事務。(自由時報)
