變態主人迫狗抽大麻

澳洲墨爾本有無良飼主，沒有好好照顧寵物狗，令牠百病叢生，而且更迫牠抽大麻。狗狗最終被救出，重獲新生。

這隻18個月大的八哥犬，早前被救出時可說只剩半條狗命，不只瘦得皮包骨，快要餓死，更長滿疥癬，毛也掉得七七八八，而且還被迫吸大麻。獸醫檢查後，發現牠滿肚子寄生蟲，而且有眼疾。

幸好狗狗現於愛護動物組織照顧下，已漸漸康復，還得到新名字叫「Basil」，職員希望等牠完全康復後，為牠找個新的家，得到主人愛護，重過新生活。

But after some medicated baths, some visits by the vet, and a name-change as he didn't like the one he came with, Basil is now being cosseted and fattened up by dog rescue organisation Saffron On The Hill, where he has become part of the family with other rescued pugs.
A spokesman for Saffron On The Hill said Basil was on medication, four small meals a day, and was having his own coat made to keep him warm while he rebuilds his strength.
Once he is completely recovered, staff hope he will be rehomed with a loving family.
