TORRES LOOKS FOR MORE IMPROVEMENT
The Spanish striker scored 33 goals in a record-breaking first season at Anfield and has already added another five strikes to his tally this season.
But Torres confessed that Rafa Benitez never lets him rest on his laurels and he is always looking to improve his game.
"I am my own sternest critic, but my manager is just as demanding as I am," said Torres, who played the full 90 minutes alongside Xabi Alonso in Spain's 3-0 victory over Estonia.
"Rafa keeps reminding me I still have a long way to go. I’ll score a goal, but he won't tell me he is happy afterwards – I have him on my back for six hours every day." |
