How Good Really Is Steven Gerrard??
I don't thing stevie gets enough credit at all for the player he is andfor what he's done as a liverpool player i also don't understand whyhe's never won european player of the year either. He's certainly thebest all round midfielder in the world and i have no qualms aboutsaying that because i believe it's true. What does he have todo......win the Premier League? is this the only thing that has stoppedhim from truely being recgonised as a genuine world class player or isit because he's not as good as some people say? 
Asmuch as i love king kenny and rushie, barnes i'm of the opinion thatsteven gerrard is the greatest player to ever pull on a liverpoolshirt, because of his all round play and versitility, his match winningdisplays and dragging the rest of the team through in the hard times.He really deals with the pressure of being the captain of liverpoolvery very well and never seems out of his depth. Time and time again hepulls it out of the bag and i love him loads for what he's done for ourclub. For me he has the ability to do almost anything and in anyposition, being a role modal is very important in football it alwayshas been but it's even more important in this day and age of fooball.
Someneutral fans say he gets too much praise and he's over rated when acertain mr rooney can't seem to do enough. Gerrard is ten times theplayer of a rooney and a lampard for that matter and i think he shouldbe praised more around the world not just in britain alone, i thinkhe's a deserved world class player who should be crowned with eithereuropean or world player of the year sometime soon!! that's the end ofmy steven gerrard lovein and brown noseing, he was fantastic today andhe just gets better and better.
