The name 悉尼 has been used as the official name for Sydney for at least six to seven years now, when pronounced in Mandare in, it's a much closer translation of Sydney compare to 雪梨 . Just like the name Beijing instead of Peking for 北京 in English. However, in a Chinese restaurants, if you try to order a Beijing Duck, the waiter wouldn't know what you are trying to order though. 2 o X/ d" z# |+ C$ a. H

The first one is either from the Sydney Botanic Garden or at the Hyde Park, they are both very nice spots to relax and have a leisurely sunbake during the lunch break for many Sydneysiders.公仔箱論壇- _" @; a0 E( h6 e
Then there is the famous Sydney Opera House taken from the western side.tvb now,tvbnow,bttvb8 T& G- u; T7 L' i5 m! f5 w& e
Followed by two photos of the snow fields at Perisher Valley, not much snow yet, give it another 4 to 5 weeks, then it would be right into the skiing season.
$ W( Q- ?/ F# {9 tThen there are the Bondi Beach, if you venture to the eastern side, well, there you will find a lot of women sunbaking topless; no fuss, as men do it all the time.tvb now,tvbnow,bttvb; y9 d4 b& {. Y: `0 T0 C
Then we are heading north toward central coast up, about an hour and a half drive from Sydney, we get to the a place call The Entrance, a really nice spot, the ranger feed the Pelicans twice a day, quite an interesting sight. Great fish and chips shops, cafes, and restaurants. Nice fishing spot too. tvb now,tvbnow,bttvb4 V# D6 `! g6 M# L, M1 g3 G8 O
Here we are back to Sydney at the St Andrew's Cathedral, an Anglican church next to the Sydney townhall.
( R) L2 |5 L" lThe last one is specially for the shopaholics. The renovated Queen Victoria Building, there used to be an up market Chinese restaurant inside, but it's now turned into another shop. A very nice shopping arcade.
