It was easy for people to think that the hawk was sick because it was lying on the ground in such an unusual position. It was very nice for the photographer to call the wildlife recovery organization which in turn response quickly to help the hawk. I wonder if the hawk would learn a lesson from the experience and not to scoff such a big meal again.
