In these books, he describes America as an empire of bases, attempting to build it in the Roman model. The number of bases keeps on increasing despite the end of the Cold War. On the other hand, many of my good friends are from the US; and I fully respect and admire those political intellectuals and artists who are living there.公仔箱論壇# ~. \' o" f9 Z. c
One thing about the US:  people are allowed to speak their mind openly without worrying too much of the subsequent consequence.
