为了能保住自己的食物，并且把那些试图掠走食物的其他虫子给消灭，三种不同能力的虫子开始防守存放食物的地方。动作 RPG 元素结合塔防要素，以及风格粗犷的 3D 画面，将让玩家体验到十分爽快的战斗。玩家将在蜘蛛刺客、重装甲甲壳虫和机枪蚂蚁三只不同的虫子战士之间，进行适时的切换，来达到更好的消灭试图抢走食物的其他虫子。
版本 2.1 中的新功能
* added FREE new adventure level: Living Room!
* added several new enemies, found only in the Living Room!
* added FREE new turret (unlocked on round 10 of Living Room)!
* fixed the occasional stutter experienced in some upper generation devices
* fixed position of the character button on iPad
* bug fix: Stickbug's earthquake ability now gives money + XP for kills
* bug fix: the enemy reinforcements quest won't auto-complete when loading your game
* greatly reduced the damage taken by the Food Stash in easy mode
* improved Termite's shield generator defensive bonus while standing inside of it
* Termite's satellite and spark plugs abilities now affect base turrets
* greatly lowered the placement cost of Termite's turrets, but also lowered their strength to compensate
* will no longer earn bonus gold from Fly's theft skill when Termite or base turrets kill things
* Fly's Spinning Shot ability has been fixed to be the more defensive oriented ability it was intended to be; does higher knockback, longer stun, but much less damage
* various other balance tweaks
