Nov 12 Nene (foot) remains at least three weeks from returning, the Washington Post reports.
Recommendation: Nene received the timetable projection from a doctor last week, but brushed off whether it meant he'd be able to return to game action or just practice in that time frame, explaining that his plantar fasciitis is more than just a simple pain. Nene indicated he also tore a ligament in the bottom of his foot and has been bothered by general discomfort since last December. At this point, it's hard to trust Nene at all to return anytime soon, much less be completely healthy. Bearing this news in mind, Kevin Seraphin and Trevor Booker should have more long-term value than originally thought. |
