Johor Bahru i not very sure, but feel the safety there is not very good.
Southbay penang, not too bad, but is real expensive (for me)...lot of foreigner bought it. in future there will be a good place to stay, another high density place.

ohh..if u have this amount of cash..u can buy a high dance condo in penang island~
if convert will be RM725K....roughly can get a 1800 to 2000SqFt Condo..maybe can get a landed property also~

sorry..typo...is high density ~
yes you can get a landed house also, but off course not very into town, currently that probably will cost a million~
maybe can somewhere not very far from town, still can get it with the amount if the price...currently cost RM700K to a million~
the landed property in southbay city that you mention just now, new construct already cost 1 million onward~
